Automated WiFi Network Optimisation: Real World Results

24 January 2018 – , Webinar

How can service providers ensure partners and customers are delivering and receiving the best possible Wi-Fi experience, especially in dense, interference-heavy, environments? Take a look at the FREE visual.

The Mobile Network (TMN) is delivering a programme of content to illustrate how service providers can automate Wi-Fi performance using a cloud-based analytics platform.

XCellRAN is a cloud-based platform that optimises and co-ordinates the performance of Wi-Fi Access Points and user connectivity. It can deliver and control service provider policies, as well as expose WiFi analytics for use in other business units.

LEARN MORE – WEBINAR

TMN is holding a webinar with Canadian service provider Videotron and with XCellAir, provider of the XCellRAN platform, explaining how automated WiFi optimisation can improve user experience, lifting customer loyalty and revenues.

The webinar will also reveal brand new results of a real-world ISP deployment of cloud-based, automated WiFi analytics and optimisation.

LEARN MORE – CASE STUDY

All webinar registrants will also receive a free, exclusive copy of a case study featuring real world before-and-after results from a live, commercial deployment of XCellAir’s automated Wi-Fi optimisation technology.

The case study will feature results from an extended commercial pilot of the XCellAir solution in Multi Dwelling Unit Wi-Fi deployment, managed by Canadian service provider Videotron.

IEEE PIMRC 2017

8 October 2017 – 13 October 2017, Montreal, QC, Canada
IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications Angelo Cuffaro, XCellAir Senior Director R&D/Chief Scientist, will be participating in the panel, "Urban Connectivity: Challenges and Opportunity" As network technologies evolve at a very high pace in Telecommunication, so do all of the techniques, algorithms and methodologies that relate to building and deploying networks based on those emerging technologies. Past technologies have led to a lot of research activities being carried on in areas such as frequency allocation optimization, wave propagation modeling (e.g. at millimeter waves) or statistical modeling of network performance (in licensed, light licensed and unlicensed frequency bands), in general covering the fields of predicting and optimizing the performance of the deployed network. 5G complement existing technologies and offers new paradigms in terms of network air interface, topology and balance between the core, backhaul and access network. This panel session will review recent progresses in all these areas to serve an optimal connectivity contributing to the Smart City connectivity. The panelists will provide multiple insights into challenges to come and research areas in which the knowledge of our scientific communities and industrial practice needs to progress based on recent pre-5G and IoT deployments.
